On November 10th, 2015, I had a chance to go to Lakeside pond after work. I can honestly say I have never went bass fishing this late in the season, however, I was really excited about this lure and wanted to fish with it as much as possible before winter set in. Weather conditions were partly sunny, calm winds, 50 degrees, and water temp approximately 50 degrees. at 1:38 pm, on the very first cast, I landed a 15" bass. Ten minutes later I landed a second bass at 15". These were caught on the unpainted top water lure, same as all the others. I wondered if I was catching the same bass at this pond, since I hadn't ever caught bass here before. All 5 bass caught in this pond were 15". Fortunately, I had taken photos of all 5 and compared shape and markings. Upon close examination, they were all different. This leads me to the conclusion that there is a thriving , healthy population of bass in this small city pond. These are the two caught on this day.
